How to read the dashboard

The main metrics, what they mean and when you should react to a change.

The main metrics

Answer share
Percentage of answers in a topic that mention your brand.
Citations
Times a page on your domain appears as a source in an answer.
Competitors
The same metrics for the brands you track, so you can compare positions.
Sources
The domains and pages the engines cite when they talk about your topic.

The confidence level

Every number has a label: strong, moderate or weak. It tells you how much evidence supports it. The numbers combine the last three analyses; on a new account, with only one analysis, confidence is lower and rises as analyses build up.

The action plan

Every month, the dashboard suggests a short, prioritised list of actions: pages to create or improve, external sources to work on and technical fixes. Once you’ve completed an action, track its effect in the following analyses.

Only react to a drop when it holds across more than one analysis and has moderate or strong confidence.
