1. Who we are

The Neural Ranks platform, available at neuralranks.com, is provided by Idealbrand, Lda, a company incorporated in Portugal, VAT number PT515295515, with its registered office at Avenida da Liberdade, 615, 1.º, 4710-251 Braga, Portugal (“Neural Ranks”, “we”). Contact: hello@neuralranks.com.

These terms govern access to and use of the website, the free trial and paid plans. By creating an account or using the platform, you accept these terms. If you use the platform on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.

2. The service

Neural Ranks is software provided as a service (SaaS) that measures the presence of brands in answers from third-party artificial intelligence engines, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, and produces reports, alerts and recommendations. The features and limits of each plan are described on the Pricing page.

3. Account

• You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account.
• Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• The platform is intended for professional use. You may not share the account beyond the users included in your plan.

4. Free trial

The trial lasts 7 days, requires no card and includes the limits shown on the pricing page. At the end of the trial you are not charged automatically: to continue, choose a paid plan. Trial data is kept for at least 30 days so you can subscribe without losing it.

5. Prices, payment and renewal

• Prices are shown in euros and exclude VAT, which is added at the applicable legal rate at checkout, unless an exemption or the reverse-charge mechanism applies.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
• We issue an invoice for every payment, which you can download from the billing area.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. The change applies from the next renewal.
• If a payment fails, we retry for a few days and notify you by email. If it remains unpaid, the account may be restricted until it is settled.

6. Changing plan and cancelling

You can change plan or cancel at any time from the billing area. When upgrading, the difference is charged pro rata. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, and you keep access until then. The monthly plan has no lock-in. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.

7. Nature of the results

AI engine answers vary between requests, accounts, languages and over time, and are controlled by third parties. Neural Ranks metrics are therefore statistical estimates accompanied by a confidence level. We do not guarantee that a brand will be mentioned, recommended or cited, or any commercial outcome. Results marked as “sample” or “estimate” are illustrative. Action plan recommendations are not binding legal, financial or technical advice, and the decision to act on them is yours.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the platform to:

• pursue unlawful or misleading purposes or infringe third-party rights;
• monitor private individuals who are not public figures acting in that capacity, or collect sensitive personal data;
• send spam or automate requests to get around plan limits;
• copy, bulk-extract, resell or reverse-engineer the platform, except on the Agency plan and within the contracted scope;
• test for vulnerabilities without prior written authorisation (see the Security page).

9. Your data and content

The data you enter, such as brands, websites, topics, questions and competitors, remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process it only as needed to provide the service. We may use aggregated, anonymised data that does not identify customers to improve our measurement methods. You can export or delete your data in the account settings. Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property

The platform, software, Neural Ranks brand, methods, texts and design belong to Idealbrand, Lda or its licensors. Reports generated for your account may be freely used and shared by your company and, on the Agency plan, with your clients.

11. Availability and support

We make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available and secure, but interruptions may occur for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control, including the unavailability of third-party AI engines. Guaranteed service levels (SLAs) only exist when agreed in writing in annual contracts. Support is provided by email on business days.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, Idealbrand, Lda’s total liability to business customers is limited to the amount paid to Neural Ranks in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and excludes loss of profit, loss of business and indirect damage. We are not responsible for the content of answers generated by third-party AI engines. If you are a consumer, these limitations do not affect your statutory rights.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, after notice where possible. You can close your account at any time in the settings. After termination, account data is deleted within the periods set out in the Privacy Policy, except data we are legally required to keep, such as invoices.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are notified by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. For business customers, the courts of the district of Braga (Portugal) have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live and rely on the mandatory rules that protect you.

For consumer disputes, consumers may use an alternative dispute resolution body (Portuguese Law no. 144/2015): CIAB – Consumer Information, Mediation and Arbitration Centre, based in Braga (www.ciab.pt), or CNIACC – National Centre for Consumer Dispute Information and Arbitration (www.cniacc.pt). You can also file a complaint in the Portuguese electronic Complaints Book.
