Summary
Neural Ranks only uses cookies and local storage that are strictly necessary for the website and platform to work, and to remember choices you make, such as the theme. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. That is why we don’t show a consent banner. If we ever use non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent before enabling them.
Statistics: we measure website visits without cookies and without storing anything in your browser. We use a random identifier calculated on the server, which changes every day and cannot identify you. More details in the Privacy Policy.
What we store in your browser
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| nr_sess | First-party cookie, essential | Keeps you logged in and protects forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) | Until you close the browser |
| nr-theme | Local storage, preference | Remembers the light or dark theme you chose | Until you delete it |
| nr-chat | Local storage, functional | Links the messages you send in the chat to the same conversation | Until you delete it |
Third-party services
- Payments: checkout and the billing portal open on Stripe pages, which use Stripe’s own cookies for security and fraud prevention, under Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Fonts: the website’s fonts are hosted on our own servers, so no outside service receives the visitor’s IP address to load them.
How to manage them
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you won’t be able to log in or send forms. More information on data handling in the Privacy Policy.
