The principles we follow
- Minimisation: we only collect what is needed. Analyses concern brands and topics, not people.
- Transparency: we explain what data we process, why and for how long in the Privacy Policy.
- Data hosted in the European Union, with providers subject to the GDPR.
- Security by design, described on the Security page.
- Defined retention periods and automatic deletion of old records.
Roles: controller and processor
For customer and visitor data, such as accounts, billing and forms, Idealbrand, Lda is the data controller. If a customer enters personal data into the platform, for example a person’s name as a topic to monitor, Idealbrand, Lda acts as that customer’s processor under Article 28 GDPR. We provide a data processing agreement (DPA) to business customers on request.

We reply within one month. We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity before replying.
Processors
Hostinger (hosting, EU), Stripe Payments Europe (payments, Ireland), Brevo (email, France) and AI model providers for the analyses, with no personal data sent. The full list, with each provider’s location, is in the Privacy Policy. We notify customers before adding processors that handle their personal data.
Data breaches
We have a procedure to detect, record and respond to incidents. If a breach poses a risk to individuals, we notify the CNPD within 72 hours, inform affected customers without undue delay and inform affected individuals where the law requires.
Data protection officer
Given the nature and scale of the processing, Idealbrand, Lda is not required to appoint a data protection officer. Privacy matters are handled by management at hello@neuralranks.com.
